Hey folks,

The end of 2022 marked ten years since I Get This Call Every Day was first released, and this January marked ten years since I was fired for making the game. A lot has changed in that time, and the most recent of those changes is my employment status.

For the past five years, I've been working IT for an international retail company. It was a pretty terrible work environment, and I've finally had enough. My employment ends today. 

Maybe someday, I'll make a game about it.

For a while now, I Get This Call Every Day has been made free on itch.io using a 100% off sale. My wife and I were making enough money at our jobs to cover rent and bills, so it wasn't a big deal to give the game away for free. That situation's obviously about to change, so while I look for another job (ugh) and try to work on something new, it makes sense to ask for a little financial compensation again.

Thank you, everyone, who has downloaded and experienced I Get This Call Every Day, whether you got it for free or you paid well over the original $2 asking price.
